Our trip to Paradise...part I

I would say we have been planning this trip for at least for one year.  Last Thanksgiving when we realized we were going to be on our own for Thanksgiving (siblings with their in-laws), we decides to go on vacation.  With time share points and airline miles (for 3 of 4 tickets), we were set.  

A minor complication consisting of a move and a new job with no access to paid time off for the first six months didn't stop us from making it happen anyway.  Our Thanksgiving Luau was booked on March 8th, 2013.

The count down started about one week before and I don't think any of us slept the night before we left.  Weather forecasts looked questionable but we stayed hopeful...

An uneventful flight found us in beautiful Maui at the Marriott for night one.  We arrived a bit too late for the beach but enjoyed authentic Hawaiian food for dinner and a pool with cool color changing lights.

I have a weird job.  Noelle sat buckled in the front seat and SimMan was in his suitcase in the back.  Off to Hood River.

It can only get better.  Mason missed the bus (it came early) and Tanner couldn't get his locker open.

My Saturday morning project

No one knew how much weight the shelves would hold.  Seems I should avoid case-lot sales for awhile:)
